Tribute to my son Michael by his

With the deepest sorrow; I am saddened to say that on February 23, 2012, in Phoenix, AZ, Michael (my son) passed away. Michael was born May 18, 1973 in New York. He died at the age of 38. Much too soon. He had been fighting diabetes since he was 5. In the last dozen or so years in his life; he had many hospital stays in the course of his struggle. Two kidney transplants, eye operations and an amputation of his right leg, late 2011. In a way, I was blessed to see him for the last time in the hospital. He was surrounded by his family, wife and friends. I was there at the end as he took his last breath and holding his hand. No words can express the pain and hurt as he lost the battle. Please pray for his soul.

La Bufadora is a marine geyser or blowhole located on the Punta Banda Peninsula in Baja California, Mexico. The spout of sea water is the result of air, trapped in a sea cave, exploding upwards. Air is forced into the cave by wave action and is released when the water recedes. This interaction not only creates the spout, but a thunderous noise as well. The phenomena repeats every minute or so with its volume depending on the strength of the waves.
La Bufadora is the one of the largest blowholes in North America, often shooting upwards more than 30 metres (100 ft) above sea level. The exhibit hall roof top is approximately 24 metres (80 ft) above sea level and the blowhole frequently sprays above it. |
Only in Mexico!
Only in Mexico! While looking for an address in a Mexicali, Mexico. Patricia and myself stumbled upon this house. Notice that it is a trailer. Not a mobile home as one would expect but a portion of a tractor- trailer truck! Look closely as the rear door is replaced with a window. There is also a light fixture on the right side, top! Electric power is attached and operating too. On the left is a TV antenna. How it is attached to the roof of the house below is anybodies guess. It is hard to believe that someone actually lives in this trailer but we saw a young girl looking out the window shortly after I taking the picture!

Rosarito Beach
A short video of Rosarito Beach taken from the pier at the Rosarito Beach Hotel. Patricia and myself enjoying the day at the beach! Rosarito, Mexico is a popular destination for U.S. Citizens, it is only 18 miles south of the U.S. border and a great weekend getaway for Southern California residents. Shoppers will not be disappointed with the wonderful bargains at the many local shops around town. Items include clothing, leather goods, baskets, rugs, jewelry and discounted prescription drugs among others. All are readily available and merchants are willing to bargain! |
San Felipe, Mexico
Only a two-hour drive from Mexicali, Baja California places you into San Felipe, Mexico - one of the world's truly unique locations. Miles of white sandy beaches border the Sea of Cortes, dubbed "The World's Aquarium" by legendary Jacques Cousteau in recognition of this ecosystem. A gentle sloping pristine desert soon gives way to a dramatic 10,000 foot towering mountain range that provides a backdrop to the laid back town of San Felipe, Mexico. The rules of the road in Mexico is Almost the Same as in Any Other Country. One thing to keep in mind Is That Some require special attention Situations. For an example, when to traveling on a single land highway. If you are behind a vehicle and motorist That left signal light turns on historical. This Means That He Is That It is safe signaling to pass. MOST country clubs in the vehicle It Means That is signaling you have is About to make a left hand turn.

We had fun with Vicky! Somebody suggested that we hide Vicky's hot dog. Vicky had brought her hot dog to the table, when suddenly, someone called her. When she got back to the table, her hot dog was gone. This is her response when to she got back to the table.
